Your contribution will be vital in shaping and driving the engineering excellence of our core business systems. You will lead technical initiatives, establish engineering roadmaps, and collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about mentorship, strategic decision-making, and fostering innovation in a fast-paced, agile environment.
As our Solution Architect, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing Engineering Roadmaps: Collaborate with senior engineers to define and maintain a strategic engineering roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Architectural Leadership: Facilitate the design and implementation of software patterns and system architectures to promote scalability and integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements in the software development lifecycle processes and promote continuous improvement within the team.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to understand their requirements, provide documentation and training, and improve platform adoption.
- CI/CD Enablement: Build CI/CD pipelines, tools, and automation to enable developer autonomy and enhance productivity.
- Proof of Concepts: Develop hands-on proof of concepts and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation.
- Platform Development: Architect and develop services and microservices while promoting a platform-first approach for integration and scalability.
- Technology Decision-Making: Lead platform technology and architectural decisions, balancing technical, business, and customer needs.
About You
- Experience:
- Strong expertise in Python, Golang, or similar languages.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes (Cloud and on-premise), including kubeadm and kubespray.
- Hands-on experience with high-availability systems and meeting SLAs.
- Proficiency in observability platforms/tools such as ELK, Fluentd/FluentBit, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Cortex, InfluxDB, Jaeger, or Zipkin.
- Practical understanding of AWS and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success in leading major initiatives from requirements gathering to implementation and lifecycle management.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of containers and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS, Docker Compose).
- Expertise in developing scalable architectures and solutions.
- Ability to design team and service interfaces that enhance collaboration and delivery.
- Soft Skills:
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on technological trends.
- Proven ability to work effectively with remote and global teams.
