Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, defect-free software solutions across Pepperstone’s trading platforms. You will design and execute robust test strategies, leverage automation tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability and reliability of our systems. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled QA professional who thrives on fostering quality engineering practices and driving impactful outcomes in a dynamic, global fintech environment.

As our Senior QA Automation Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• End-to-End Automation: Collaborate with development teams to plan, implement, and track automation activities that enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Driving Agile Practices: Serve as a leading member of an agile team, promoting consistent development and quality practices.
• Coding and Scripting: Dedicate approximately 60% of your time to writing code, creating scripts, and implementing automation tools for testing.
• Tool and Method Selection: Contribute to decisions regarding tools, methods, and approaches for automation activities.
• Quality Advocacy: Ensure engineering teams deliver products that meet defined acceptance criteria and align with business needs.
• Exploratory Testing: Employ business and risk analysis techniques to prioritize and improve testing activities.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across ongoing releases to maintain product quality and user satisfaction.

About You

• Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience with test frameworks/tools such as Cypress (preferred), Selenium, Serenity, or Cucumber.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Kotlin.
• Proven experience in API testing using tools like Cypress, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Background in heading test case design for optimal coverage.
• Coaching and mentoring experience to uplift team capabilities.
• Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of automation technologies and best practices.
• Ability to develop and maintain manual and automated test suites for integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Soft Skills:
• Passion for quality and a proactive mindset in improving processes and ways of working.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

What Sets You Apart

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
