Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our systems are highly available, scalable, and resilient, while maintaining best practices for incident management, automation, and observability. You will lead technical initiatives, drive modern reliability engineering practices, and collaborate across teams to create innovative, data-driven solutions. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer passionate about building high-performing, fault-tolerant systems in a fast-paced environment.

This role reports to the Site Reliability Team Lead based in Melbourne and is focused on building, optimizing, and maintaining resilient cloud solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing system reliability, observability, and scalability while working alongside cross-functional teams in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Your contribution will be vital in ensuring that our systems are highly available, scalable, and recoverable, helping drive modern engineering practices and innovation in a fintech environment.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will:

• Ensure Reliability – Design fault-tolerant, highly available systems.
• Lead & Optimize – Shape architecture, incident management, and automation strategies.
• Automate & Streamline – Build scalable CI/CD, monitoring, and recovery solutions.
• Collaborate – Work with Engineering, Security, and Product teams.
• Enhance Practices – Advocate for automation, observability, and agile workflows.
• Mentor – Support junior engineers and promote best practices.

About You

• 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering with AWS or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, PagerDuty).
• Strong communicator with the ability to make critical decisions in high-impact situations.
• Passion for building scalable, fault-tolerant systems in a global team.
