The Senior Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for enabling high quality business solutions in an Agile context that deliver valued outcomes and enable key stakeholders to make informed decisions within Pepperstone. The Senior BA works to support delivery by facilitating clear and open communication between business teams, developers, and product managers.

The Senior BA may also be expected to exercise leadership, where required, to assist with squad cadence. This role contributes to enhancing solutions to meet the information technology needs of Pepperstone and our customers.

As our Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Working to support Agile teams to deliver high quality business solutions for key stakeholders within Pepperstone
• Engaging with clients, vendors, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate detailed requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data model), demonstrating Agile behaviours across our client onboarding lifecycle, from sign-up to first trade.
• Providing ongoing reporting and updates to both business and technical stakeholders issues on requirements and proposed solutions.
• Consulting with the business and product managers to shape the product backlog, using Agile practices to support prioritisation based on business value
• Collaborating with product managers and epic owners to support the development of business cases
• Providing multi-disciplinary teams with clarity to understand epics, user stories, the business-driven acceptance criteria, and test cases
• Assisting with the elaboration of user stories and requirements, supporting team members with their work where required
• Proactively supporting the uplift of Agile practices and foster a culture of continual improvement
• Assisting with the planning of demos and product/system testing
• Participating in and facilitating (where required) relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Iteration / Release Planning, Showcases / Sprint Review, Retrospective and Workshops etc.
• Participating in the creation of low or high-fidelity prototypes
  

About You

• The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, keep them informed on progress and seeking and providing support as required
• Experience as an application focused Business Analyst in a similar product-driven scale-up/start-up with clear knowledge of best practice Agile BA principles
• Demonstrated ability to undertake business analysis within an Agile environment with experience in requirement elicitation, documentation, and management
• The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated functional and conceptual understanding of technology and logic
• Proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applications
• Creative problem-solving skills, willingness to show initiative to achieve work outcomes, leveraging a strong analytical and growth mindset
• The ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and adjust communication style accordingly
• Ability to live the Pepperstone values
