The Role

Account Managers serve as initial points of contact for prospective clients of Pepperstone.

Their primary objectives encompass converting leads into verified accounts, facilitating the funding of those accounts, and initiating trading activities.

Upon commencement of trading, they are responsible for effectively managing the client's ongoing relationship, either for an initial period or, in the case of Premium Clients, over a longer term.

As our Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively manage leads
  • Convert leads to traded clients
  • Assist clients with funding
  • Assist clients with their trade related queries
  • Effectively manage relationships with existing clients
  • Assist your colleagues in a team basis anyway necessary
  • Always adhere to compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with other key internal departments, particularly operations and support
  • Suggest innovation and improvement to the customer experience where necessary

About you

  • Fluent in English and at least one other language (Dutch or Italian or Eastern European highly regarded)
  • Exceptional customer service & sales skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including negotiation processes)
  • Understanding of financial markets is preferred
  • Proficient numerical ability; be comfortable working with numbers
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team
  • Desire and passion for continuous learning, improvement, and innovation
  • Ability to live the Pepperstone values
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or similar would be highly desired
  • Background working in sales would be highly regarded
  • Experience with trading or learning trading strategies would be highly desired
  • Experience with MT4, MT5, cTrader and Trading View software will be highly desired
