The Change Manager is accountable for driving effective people-led change to support Pepperstone’s organization-wide transformation to become ‘AI-Native’. This role focuses on enabling sustained adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across the organization, ensuring leaders and teams are equipped, confident and ready to realize value from AI.

Working closely with the Transformation Lead, Technology Leaders, People & Culture and business stakeholders, this role exists to translate AI-enabled transformation into day-to-day behavioural, capability and mindset change. The Change Manager will pragmatically connect strategy, delivery and adoption, ensuring AI is embedded into how work is done, decisions are made and outcomes are delivered.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in change management, strong facilitation capability and a practical understanding of project management in complex global environments.

Key Position Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end change management activities in support of Pepperstone’s AI‑Native transformation program.
  • Design and execute change strategies that enable adoption of AI tools, agentic workflows and AI‑enabled operating models across teams.
  • Conduct detailed change impact assessments focused on how AI will alter roles, workflows, decision-making, skills and accountabilities.
  • Partner closely with Transformation, Technology, People & Culture and business leaders to integrate change activities into delivery plans.
  • Develop and deliver targeted communication strategies that demystify AI and clearly articulate “what’s changing, why, and what it means for me.”
  • Support leaders to role model AI‑enabled behaviours and confidently lead their teams through uncertainty and change.
  • Design and coordinate AI enablement, learning and capability uplift activities aligned to adoption needs and maturity levels.
  • Establish and track adoption, engagement and effectiveness metrics related to AI usage, behaviour change and value realisation.
  • Facilitate workshops, forums and working sessions to support mindset shift, experimentation and feedback across impacted teams.
  • Actively identify resistance, change fatigue or adoption risks and implement mitigation strategies early.
  • Maintain robust change artefacts including impact assessments, stakeholder maps, readiness plans, communications and adoption dashboards.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, experimentation and responsible AI usage across the organisation.
  • Contribute to broader Business Management & Transformation practices, including governance, delivery cadence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in change management roles supporting complex business and technology transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience leading people‑led change for digital, technology or ways of working transformations
  • Strong working knowledge of change management frameworks
  • Personal adoption of AI tools with a clear understanding of how AI drives productivity, quality and decision making
  • Experience designing change strategies that address capability uplift, mindset shift and behavioural change—not just communications
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and teams
  • Experience operating in fast paced, ambiguous environments where change approaches must evolve in real time.
  • Experience partnering closely with Agile or hybrid delivery teams to embed change alongside execution.
  • Strong facilitation skills across leadership, team and cross functional forums.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours / be available ad-hoc across time zones.
