What will you do? Global Markets isn’t just a step forward in your career it is a launch pad to the dynamic world of Origination, Research, Sales and Trading in ever changing markets.

As part of our Global Markets team you will gain valuable practical experience working across various asset classes inclusive of Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies and Central Funding on our humming trading floor, collaborate with Research to understand market structure and strategies, and also gain exposure to a range of Debt Capital Markets, Securitization and Risk Solution transactions. The Internship Program runs for 3 months (full time), commencing late November 2022. It will kick off with induction and formal orientation training, before launching into the program’s work-component.Get ready to be paired with a buddy and assigned one of industries best and brightest Mentors.

This structure is designed to provide you ample access to support and feedback, and to help you build a strong network with your peers and the RBCCM team. In addition to the 3-month full time internship, there may be opportunities to continue with RBCCM on a part time basis at the conclusion of your internship, through your final year of studies. What do you need to succeed?

Ideally, you’re in your penultimate year of study and be Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents or eligible to work in Australia. We are interested in an agile intellect, strong numerical and analytical skills, an awareness of global economic issues and a genuine interest in financial markets. Creativity, logic, interpersonal skills and inner drive all come into the equation.
