About The Role

Internal accounting? That's a good start. Supporting all areas of the company and assessing financial implications from various key strategic decisions and growth opportunities — this is what our financial people do all day long.

We're looking for a Financial Control Manager who'll report to the Head of Accounting. This is a big deal. We've recently launched our new EU holding company, that covers Banking, Insurance, and Trading companies. You, the lucky person, will be responsible for pulling together the accounts 📈

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing consolidated GL accounts for EU holding and its subsidiaries in ERP Oracle NetSuite under IFRS
• Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process within the EU holding entity and its subsidiaries and branches
• Ensuring accurate, and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
• Analyzing changes in key general ledger accounts
• Managing the accounting policy, ensuring that it is up to date and latest changes in IFRS and Group policies are implemented
• Implementing process improvements to boost the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through both automation and control measures
• Supporting EU branches set up
• Participating in annual and interim audits
• Delivering advice on accounting and reporting issues
• Contributing to and defining consolidation as well as financial control processes and procedures
  
  

What You'll Need

• University degree in finance or economics
• 8+ years experience in Finance and Controlling functions
• Excellent accounting knowledge, with proven experience with IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
• Financial services experience, ideally with international aspects
• A structural and logical approach to solving problems
• Exceptional analytical skills and a hands-on attitude
• Experience within a fast growing organisation
• Great motivation and focus on delivery
