About the role
The Legal Department sits at the heart of Revolut and is a very important part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact on Revolut's growth every day.
We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to sit within a new team — Private Banking. You’ll be joining a specialised team within this department, focused on a future specialised offering for HNWIs.
The majority of this offering will relate to investments services, but you'll also be asked to advise more broadly on other private banking style services. You'll encounter (and level of commercial involvement) is pretty unique for an in-house role, from launching new products to expanding into new territories.

What you’ll be doing
- Launching investment products and services, from conducting legal assessments to preparing customer-facing documents and providing ongoing support
- Advising the business on complex legal and regulatory issues around structuring of new products, marketing, and promotion of investment products
- Researching a range of complex legal and regulatory questions, and providing legal analyses and recommendations to support business initiatives and decisions
- Advising on resolutions of costumers complaints and disputes
- Collaborating with our Commercial Legal Counsels in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regulatory parts of agreements and legal documents
- Drafting, planning, and/or implementing compliance policies and procedures for regulatory matters for investment products
- Identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing, and reporting on operational, legal, regulatory, and compliance risk in relation to investment products
What you'll need
- 4+ years of wealth and trading (investment services, financial markets, and/or asset management) experience
- 6+ years of experience as a private-practise lawyer at a top law firm
- Expertise advising customers on MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, PRIIPS, UCITS implementation and providing legal support related to associated policies and contractual frameworks
- A business-oriented mindset to find actionable solutions to legal and regulatory challenges
- Ownership skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous situations
- A genuine interest in financial markets industry
- Broad-based securities and/or asset management experience
- A good understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments
- Exceptional project management and communication skills, including the ability to oversee implementation of complex projects
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution
- Excellent academic and law firm credentials

Compensation range
- Lithuania: €5,800 - €8,300 gross monthly*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
