About the role

The credit department at Revolut is anything but ordinary. They design, develop, and launch credit products across the globe. The team manages our products from day one to the end — developing the back and front-end, the data science infrastructure, and then creating a local setup in each country with scalable risk management and portfolio management solutions. It's a big job, but our people are a credit to us all.

Not everything in fintech can be automated. That's where you come in. We need an Underwriter who can review our customer credit applications when there's a little more digging to be done. You'll be an expert in regulations and decide if the information provided meets Revolut's creditworthiness criteria.

What you’ll be doing

• Guiding customers through the mortgage application process
• Working closely with the customer to address any issues or documentation/information requirements
• Assessing applicants’ financial situations, including creditworthiness, affordability, credit files, and property valuations, in line with Revolut’s lending criteria to make informed mortgage approval decisions
• Providing clear and detailed explanations to customers about their mortgage offers and any related terms or conditions
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improving our products and processes while enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction

What you'll need

• Proven experience in mortgage consulting or underwriting
• An excellent understanding of mortgage products, credit assessment, and risk evaluation
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with customer communication
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation range

• Lithuania: €3,000 - €3,400 gross monthly*
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
