About the role

The Treasury department is an integral part of any business. At Revolut, we take that one step further. Our global fintech would be lost without them. They’re more than just an important part of the business — they’re our backbone.

We’re looking for a Head of Capital & IRRBB at our European Bank team. You’ll join a team responsible that is leading all aspects for capital management, interest rate risk and resolution planning. It will be up to you to ensure processes are in place, develop and enhance capital & IRRBB frameworks, and provide key input on regulatory engagements.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring & management of capital and liquidity adequacy at Group and Subsidiary level.
• Working with product owners to assess new products or innovations that impact capital ratios and interest rate risk.
• Collaborating with finance colleagues on forecast monitoring and capital performance.
• Managing and coordinating the Bank’s ICAAP
• Leading interactions with regulators on topics associated with capital management and interest rate risk in the banking book
• Taking ownership of MREL and resolution planning for the Treasury
• Contributing to regulatory reporting where Treasury is identified as a reviewer or owner
• Supporting company strategy by owning Treasury-related analysis on initiatives

What you'll need

• An excellent grounding in capital management with a firm understanding of banking regulations (CRR)
• Experience managing and developing ICAAP, computation of capital requirements, and a proactive approach to enhancing capital requirements.
• Understand the interaction between various risk types and how they impact capital and interest rate risk
• A track record of interacting with regulators on capital management or interest rate risk
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to build processes from scratch
