About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We're looking for a Risk Manager Intern to play an active role in model validation, data integrity checks, and risk assessment processes. You'll engage directly with innovative AI and machine learning models, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks that impact our financial and operational stability.

The Rev-celerator Internship Programme is open to international applicants ready to relocate to one of our tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK. We’ll support you with visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation (conditions apply).

What you’ll be doing

• Playing an active role in model validation and data integrity checks on innovative AI and machine learning models
• Assisting in critical data analysis and risk assessment tasks to strengthen the accuracy of Revolut’s models
• Working closely with experienced risk managers and data scientists, contributing to meaningful projects that enhance Revolut’s risk frameworks
• Developing a foundation in quantitative risk management tools and methodologies
• Contributing to robust risk controls that safeguard Revolut’s financial health

What you'll need

• To be in your penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, economics, finance, maths, physics, or a similar field (graduating in 2027)
• Basic data-handling and analytical skills (Excel or similar)
• A willingness to learn programming fundamentals in Python
• Impeccable attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Full-time availability for Summer 2026 and the ability to travel to a Revolut office in your country of employment (this is a hybrid role)

Nice to have

• Introductory knowledge of statistics or machine learning concepts (from coursework or projects)
• Exposure to programming or data visualisation (e.g., Python, Tableau)
• Prior projects or coursework related to financial services or risk
