Role Purpose
The Head of Marketing is the most senior marketing leader at Send, responsible for defining and executing our end-to-end marketing strategy. Sitting on the LeadCo, this role blends strategy, leadership, and hands-on delivery across brand, demand generation, content, digital marketing, and market strategy.
You will be a key growth driver across the business, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Partnerships to bring our value proposition to life, generate demand in regulated verticals, and amplify Send’s voice in the global payments space.
This role requires a strategic thinker who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and execute, from setting marketing vision to delivering assets, campaigns, and analytics that move the needle.
Key Accountabilities
- Represent Marketing at the LeadCo level, working as a peer to Enterprise Partnerships and Account Management
- Lead the development of a cross-vertical marketing strategy, aligned to company and CGO priorities
- Own and deliver integrated marketing programs from brand awareness to B2B acquisition and retention
- Drive clear GTM positioning and messaging in partnership with Product and Commercial
- Shape Send’s brand identity and thought leadership through content, digital, PR, and creative campaigns
- Execute hands-on where needed including performance marketing, email journeys, social, and events
- Conduct market sizing, persona definition, and competitive analysis to guide vertical expansion
- Oversee CRM and funnel performance across HubSpot, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools
- Plan and manage the marketing budget; track and communicate ROI for all marketing investments
- Lead and scale a high-performing marketing team; restructure or in-house capabilities as needed
- Manage external vendors and agencies for delivery across brand, creative, content, and digital
Key Metrics (FY26)
- Growth in qualified pipeline across priority verticals
- Brand perception uplift and awareness in priority verticals
- Strong execution of GTM initiatives with measurable business impact
- Increased customer advocacy through NPS, case studies, and testimonials
- Marketing capability uplift (internal team maturity and agency performance)
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including senior leadership roles
- Strong track record in regulated industries (e.g. payments, legal, fintech)
- Proven ability to lead full-funnel programs: brand, acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Startup or scale-up experience strongly preferred
- Experience with global or multi-region marketing desirable
- Deep expertise in content marketing, executive comms, and thought leadership
- Skilled in CRM (HubSpot preferred), analytics, and performance marketing tools
- Strong commercial acumen, creative judgement, and storytelling capability
