Job Description
As the Technology Manager for our Bengaluru team, you'll be responsible for driving high performance, efficiency, and quality across our technology organization. Your mission: to build and lead a top-tier team of engineers while aligning our strategies with business objectives. You will lead and manage the software engineering, infrastructure and operations of 14+.
What you'll do:
Team Leadership: Build and nurture a high-performing technology team, fostering motivation and growth.
Management Excellence: Lead and develop a team of skilled developers, providing personal and professional growth opportunities.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with functional leaders to ensure our technology team supports overall functional strategy and goals.
Performance Focus: Develop strategies and best practices, establish clear performance goals, KPIs, and track progress toward achieving business objectives.
Risk Management: Take ownership of risk and issue identification and management, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with all stakeholders.
Technical Expertise: Contribute to technical solutions, from design to code, across all platforms, aligning them with functional plans.
Coding Standards: Drive continuous improvement in coding standards across the team, incorporating best frameworks, technical standards, and practices for productivity, quality, and speed.
Resource Planning: Maintain support resource scheduling and team capacity planning across all product lines.
Initiative Execution: Work on various initiatives involving system implementations, improvements, and processes optimization, enhancing the performance of existing software.
Qualifications
A relevant Software Engineering or Software Science based qualification
At least 3+ years in Head of Engineering, VP Of Engineering, or Head of Technology roles
Experience in people management and the ability to lead and influence others
netCore, React JS, Azure experience previous Salesforce / Java experience is a good bonus
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment
Ability to coach and lead staff
Recent experience working in Scrum teams of Agile environment
Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
