Security Engineer - Application Security

• Proven experience in web and mobile application security, with knowledge of Software Engineering and AWS Cloud infrastructure.

As part of our Cyber Security team, you'll join a talented, highly collaborative team working to reduce risk across the company by contributing to the development and execution of Zip’s overall information Security strategy focusing on identifying protection goals, objectives and controls consistent with addressing current and emerging trends, threats and opportunities.

Our Cyber Security Engineers identify potential threats and risks within our application code and platforms to design and deliver effective solutions that cause the least amount of disruption to our wider technology business.

• 3+ years of experience in information security/IT risk/secure software development
• Knowledge of web application security concepts; mobile application security concepts
• Managing SAST tooling
• Performing code reviews
• Web application penetration testing experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, particularly with engineering squads.
• Experience working with public cloud services (AWS / Azure)
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes or similar (Docker, Openshift)
• Experience with Security Engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, Cloud Security, CI/CD, Automation, and Software Development / API Security
