Do you have a passion for technology? An exciting career opportunity has come available for an IT Support Specialist to join the National IT team based in our Sydney CBD office.

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on Level 1 & 2 IT Support experience in an environment with several locations. You will be a team player with a cheerful and professional attitude who is committed to providing excellent customer service and willingness to get involved in projects and improving our IT services.

The role is hybrid and will require some work out of hours for deployment of upgrades. There is also the potential to travel to our other hubs in Melbourne and Adelaide depending on the business needs.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will have a broad range of experiences across Infrastructure, Network, Business Applications, Project Management, and IT Security. You will be surrounded by a vibrant ecosystem made up of emerging tech startups & scaleups, corporates, enterprise, and government, and have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide 1 / 2 level technical support to staff nationally; managing incoming queries and issues related to macOS laptops, Windows and other internal hardware, SaaS software and computer systems
  • Assist IT Manager in conjunction with external MSPs, to provide support to all Innovation hubs (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide) WiFi and Network related requests which include Firewall, RADIUS, data center tasks, AP, WiFi troubleshooting
  • Produce, contribute and update technical knowledge base, user guides and documentation
  • Liaise and work with external IT services providers when required to ensure optimal user experiences
  • Assist with the implementations of internal and customer IT projects providing support around systems, tools and cyber security
  • SaaS tools management and remediation

Skills

The successful applicant will have:

Technical Skills

  • An IT or related degree or equivalent demonstrated technical experience
  • Understanding and experience in supporting computer devices, peripherals and various operating systems including but not limited to Google workspace, Apple iOS, and Windows
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • An aptitude for acquiring further technical skills and an eagerness to learn about Stone & Chalk technical environments and tools
  • Understanding of Jamf Pro MDM (highly desirable)
  • Google Workspace Administration (User Groups, SAML, SSO, Distribution Groups, OU)
  • Knowledge of Office 365 administration and Azure Active Directory (Security Groups, Roles, UAC)
  • CRM Knowledge
  • Endpoint Security Platforms

  • Solid self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and participate in cross-functional projects
  • Excellent follow-up skills to see tasks through to resolution and communicate problem status to end users such as notification of completion, notification of delay, and rationale.
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritising and managing multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a technical, logical thought process
  • Ability and willingness to give and receive honest, balanced feedback. Demonstrates competence and character that inspires trust.
