To further this important mission, we are looking for insightful and analytical finance professionals to be the financial and strategic partners to our Vendor Workforce Management Team. Your work will be instrumental to Stripe achieving its mission and be highly visible to Stripe leadership.
About the team
The Core Tech & Operations Finance & Strategy team is an integral thought partner to Stripe’s CTO and functional leaders. We support Core Tech and Operations. We bring understanding and predictability to Stripe’s bottom line financials. We work cross functionally across many surfaces at Stripe and help steward Stripe’s resource investments to improve the durability of our long term financial performance.
What you’ll do
Finance & Strategy finance lead and business partner to the Operations org which includes the Head of Support, Head of Risk Operations, and Stripe Delivery Center.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial forecasting and annual planning processes, expense and headcount budgeting and planning for the Operations teams.
- Partner with the leadership teams to develop long range planning models that support the team’s strategic vision
- Develop rigorous frameworks for measuring and analyzing ROI of investments
- Support strong financial management and oversight, working with accounting, corporate finance and others as needed
- Develop a team of 2+ finance & strategy analysts and grow the team as needed to scale with the business
- Work cross functionally with Strategic & Analytics to build business cases with a data driven approach.
- Continuously review and enhance processes, methodologies and tools to ensure any team member engaging in any process will deliver consistent high-quality outputs, with an emphasis on scale and speed to take on additional challenges
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Operations, Support, or Service finance, preferably at a high growth, enterprise software, or fintech focused business
- Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen with the ability to drive insights, problem solve and distill complex business information in a consumable way
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, ideally as a direct people manager, but can be in cross team experience
- Finance minded with strong technical skills, and operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
- Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and executives; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
- Comfortable working with all levels of the organization; diving into the details and managing Exec level communications
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
SQL
- An MBA or Masters degrees is desirable
The annual US base salary range for this role is $183,600 - $275,400. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
