We leverage the latest technologies to give traders a fast, reliable, and intuitive experience across our proprietary platforms — and we’re now looking for a Head of Website to lead this critical area of our global business.

As Head of Website, you’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team overseeing the implementation, performance, and continuous improvement of ThinkMarkets’ global web platforms. You’ll ensure our multi-regional websites deliver best-in-class user experience, speed, and scalability, while collaborating closely with Marketing, SEO, Product, and Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day website operations including server performance, database health, API integrations, program rollouts, maintenance, and incident reporting.
• Evaluate emerging web technologies and frameworks (PWAs, AMP, responsive design) to enhance mobile-first experiences.
• Analyze data and recommend website optimizations to improve UX and conversion rates using analytics and A/B testing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Monitor key performance metrics and conversion funnels, using tools like New Relic, Datadog, and Google Tag Manager to drive data-informed improvements.
• Champion a mobile-first approach by optimizing site speed, Core Web Vitals, and applying performance techniques such as code minification, lazy loading, and CDNs.
• Uphold web development best practices, ensuring WCAG accessibility, security standards (OWASP Top 10), and global scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, SEO, Country Managers) on technical SEO, API integrations, and marketing tools.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline implementation to automate deployments and minimize release risks.
• Ensure website infrastructure security, DNS, hosting, and SSL management are effectively maintained.
• Establish coding standards and oversee architectural decisions for new features and integrations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in web software development with deep knowledge of the full development lifecycle.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong background with CMS platforms such as Kentico, WordPress, or similar, including custom module/plugin development and API integrations.
• Solid understanding of web farms, multi-node environments, and load balancing for scalability and uptime.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (ReactJS, Angular, Redux, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3) and related tools (Webpack, Babel, Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of backend technologies, ideally C#, .NET Framework/Core, and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
• Experience working with remote vendor teams and managing code quality across distributed environments.
• Experience in API design (RESTful, GraphQL) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices and implementation.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent command of the English language.
