Responsibilities
TRAction Fintech is currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of financial data and will have strong experience with MS SQL. Some key components of the role:
· Develop quality software and web applications
· Analyse and maintain existing software applications
· Design highly scalable, testable code
· Discover and fix programming bugs
· Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our data processing capabilities
· Working closely with cross-functional team on product design
· Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
· Database design
· Training other staff members on developed systems
· Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
· Assist in application support, helping with any code issues that may arise
· Coordinating software rollouts and revisions
Qualifications and skills
· A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· Extensive experience with MS SQL
· Competent and proficient in C# and building .NET applications
· 2 years of experience in a relevant field
Bonus skills
· Knowledge of the regulatory landscape and OTC Derivatives
· Experience with Python
· Understanding of financial data and related processes
· Knowledge of XML/XSD standards
· Any knowledge of Docker, Python Django framework, and ember.JS Frontend would be a plus
· AWS Infrastructure Knowledge
· Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
· Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and/or WordPress site management
