Your Role - Driving Operational Excellence and Business Impact

The Senior Manager, Operations will be a key operational leader responsible for implementing and optimising company-wide processes, systems, and workflows to drive exceptional outcomes. This role offers significant impact and visibility, with the opportunity to shape WeMoney's operational landscape and deliver measurable results across the business and for the members we serve.

What You'll Do

• Operational Execution: Partner with the Founder & CEO and leadership team to implement strategic plans and operational initiatives that drive company goals.
• Process Optimisation: Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable operational processes to efficiently manage WeMoney's rapid growth.
• Performance Management: Develop, track, and analyse key operational metrics that drive accountability and business performance.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Streamline communication and workflows across departments, ensuring alignment toward shared business objectives.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly identify, structure, and solve complex operational challenges using clear frameworks and decisive action.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team that values accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Systems Implementation: Identify, implement, and optimise tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

You're a Force Multiplier of Operational Excellence

• Experience as a senior operations leader within high-growth environments, fintech experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of AI capabilities and how to effectively integrate them into operational processes.
• Experience creating and deploying agentic frameworks or working with autonomous systems.
• Demonstrated track record in building operational frameworks that support substantial growth.
• Fast thinker and doer who can process complexity quickly and apply first principles thinking.
• Obsessed with execution and operational excellence, with proven ability to operationalise vision into tangible results.
• Systems and engineering mindset that can create order from ambiguity and move with speed.
• Strong leadership capabilities with empathy, enthusiasm, and maniacal attention to detail.
• Hands-on individual contributor comfortable being "in the traffic" rather than just directing it.
• Experience with implementing and scaling operational processes that improve team effectiveness.
• Finds excitement in the "mundane" – gaining true pleasure from designing and implementing processes that help everyone become more effective.
