Your Role: Shaping Financial Futures

As a Junior Product Designer at WeMoney, you’ll help craft experiences that inspire confidence and empower our members to achieve their financial goals. You’ll collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team to design features that are intuitive, accessible, and deeply impactful. Your work will directly shape the financial well-being of millions, creating tools that help everyday Australians do money better.

What You’ll Do

• Design and refine features for WeMoney’s mobile and web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences that align with our mission.
• Lead user interviews and testing sessions to uncover insights that inform design decisions.
• Help build and maintain a cohesive design system that scales with our ambitions.
• Collaborate closely with developers to deliver polished, production-ready solutions.
• Create stunning visual assets, from illustrations to interactive elements, to enhance engagement across our digital channels.
• Advocate for our members, ensuring their needs and pain points drive every design decision.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ years in product design with a portfolio showcasing impactful, user-centered designs.
• Empathy: An understanding of user needs and an ability to connect emotionally with our members.
• Craftsmanship: Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with bonus points for experience in prototyping and usability testing.
• Strategic Thinking: Proficiency in building and evolving design systems while balancing creativity with business goals.
• Data-Driven: A knack for leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to make informed design decisions.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Curiosity: A relentless desire to learn, grow, and push design boundaries.
