We’re looking for a Third Party Management Specialist to join our growing team in Tallinn, Estonia!
About the Third Party Management Specialist role:
The Third Party Management Specialist is the intermediate-level role of the Wise TPM team. Specialists are the backbone of third party management in Wise, especially when it comes to vendor relationships, in the Automation Outsourcing and Tooling domain. They oversee the full lifecycle management of the third party portfolio belonging to them. This includes on- and offboarding of partners, managing negotiations, commercials, elements of risk, and projects related to vendors. Specialists are independently responsible for managing their subdomain’s vendor strategy, and are able to advise stakeholders relevant on that scope.
Specialists work in close collaboration with Product, Operations and Engineering in defining key objectives for the full domain, and are able to influence strategic plans using their expertise in their field. Acting as the first line in the relationship between Wise and its third parties, the TPM Specialists are crucial in making sure Wise’s global and regional objectives are properly reflected in how we work with our vendors.
What you’ll be doing as a TPM Specialist:
Account Management
- Oversee designated vendor accounts, address ad-hoc issues, collaborate with vendors to maintain and expand relationships, and execute full vendor management functions in alignment with Wise's objectives.
- Negotiate with third parties to achieve a sustainable position financially and operationally for Wise.
- Understand and assist in addressing Risk-related challenges for third parties, in cooperation with the TPRM team.
Project Collaboration
- Collaborate with Wisers to work on complex projects, contributing your expertise and skills to achieve project goals especially in Tech vendors area.
- Work together with Senior Specialists and the TPM Lead in defining key objectives, and plans for the third party portfolio of the relevant domain.
Third Party Service Oversight
- Work alongside Junior Specialists in overseeing vendor performance, KPIs and SLAs. Advise, assist, design and negotiate those frameworks for the vendors managed.
- Monitor and forecast vendor costs, maintain control over invoices and reconciliation
Effective Partner Communication
Independently lead communication with partners, fostering effective dialogue between internal and external stakeholders; adeptly handle challenging discussions with professionalism and empathy.
Relationship Building
Recognise the importance of building effective relationships within the team, with vendors and across the organisation. Foster strong connections to enhance collaboration, growth, provide assistance, and share critical information
Act as an advisory to internal stakeholders, based on market knowledge, TPM processes, and specific domain expertise
Market Research
Conduct market research and deepen understanding of relevant products to propose potential solutions and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Process Improvement
Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement both within and outside of the TPM team scope, and propose innovative solutions to improve group-wide processes, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency.
The Third Party Management Specialist is reporting directly to the Third Party Management Lead.

Nice to have skills:
- Previous experience in vendor/stakeholder management and/or process and control design/contract management
- Applied contract negotiations skills
- Advanced data analytical skills
