Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Data & Technology Senior Specialist to manage and connect our main People (HR) systems. This role is crucial for designing and building strong, reliable integrations that ensure data flows correctly, efficiently, and securely across the organisation.

Your Core Mission:

To be the expert who connects our People (HR) systems. You will lead the effort to design and build new ways for these systems to talk to each other, making sure our data integrations are reliable and secure.

  • Build System Integrations: Create, test, and launch new connections between our People (HR) systems and other business tools.

    • You will know all the ways to build these links: using ready-made connectors, creating custom solutions through APIs, or using special built-in platform tools.

  • Manage Our Connector Platform (Middleware): Be the technical owner for our integration platform, preferably Workato.

    • Your job is to keep the platform secure, running smoothly, and handle all updates and maintenance.

  • Solve Problems: Work closely with the People (HR) team and other business teams to understand their data and system needs. Translate those needs into simple, effective technology solutions.

  • Keep Data Safe and Correct: Ensure that all connected systems maintain high standards for data accuracy and security.

  • Troubleshoot and Support: Handle complex issues related to data flow, system errors, and integration failures.

  • Manage System Changes: Help plan and support major upgrades or changes to our People (HR) systems that affect how data moves.

Qualifications

What You Need to Bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working with People (HR) systems (HRIS or HRIT) and a strong background in building system integrations.

  • Workato/Middleware Knowledge: A strong understanding of an integration platform like Workato, Boomi, or Mulesoft. Workato experience is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to build integrations using custom APIs (REST/SOAP) and platform-specific tools.

  • HR System Expertise: Prior experience with a major People Technology (HRIS or HRIT) platform, with a preference for Workday (specifically the technical side like Integrations or Extend).

  • Problem Solver: You love solving tough problems and can use data to make smart decisions.

  • Communication: Excellent at explaining technical issues clearly to people who are not technical.

  • Ownership: You can work independently, manage your own project deadlines, and take full responsibility for your work.
