The ANZ Financial Planning & Analysis team partners directly with the Zip business to provide meaningful insights and analysis. We are looking for an experienced Manager to join us bringing your expertise to our already high functioning team. In this role you will provide board and executive reporting that is impactful and dynamic, develop strong relations with different business divisions, along with providing consistency of budgets and forecast outputs.
Interesting problems you'll get to solve
- Be the trusted ANZ Finance Business Partner and key finance contact, owning the end-to-end budget and forecasting process, and consolidation of month-end reporting into ANZ management and board packs. Build a strong working relationship directly with the Zip business delivering results and helping the business to mitigate risks and grow.
- Lead the ANZ revenue and cost centres reporting process on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate and timely accounting including taking up necessary accruals, working closely with payroll, local finance teams as well as preparing analysis and review for higher management.
- Lead the ANZ FTE reporting process, partnering with local teams to prepare the annual budget and ongoing forecasts and reporting used by higher management.
- Work with ANZ procurement team, to track supplier costs, prepare annual budget and upscale procurement and supplier cost reporting.
- Prepare/maintain ANZ long-term strategic outlook models, as well as providing ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business strategy as required.
- Produce ad-hoc analysis and insights for senior management, including the global executive team and the Board as required.
- Work closely with other Finance teams including Treasury, Tax and the Group Financial Planning and Analysis team providing ANZ financial data for overall group consolidation.
- Continuously improve processes, reporting, communication and relationships with key stakeholders and users of financial information. Collaboratively lead projects to achieve these goals.
What you'll bring to the team
- A passion for and experience working in Financial Planning & Analysis preferably as part of a fast paced multi-national organisation
- Comfortable with ambiguity and an ever changing environment
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience working with tier 1 ERP & BI systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including asynchronous working with stakeholders from remote/international teams
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a curious mindset, not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Desire to continually improve processes and improve reporting that is more insightful to both Finance and Business Stakeholders
- Excellent relationship skills, with the ability to use it to build consensus and action across our business
